MICHAELIDOU & CONSTANTINOU L.L.C., a well-established Intellectual Property (IP) law firm based in Nicosia, is currently seeking to recruit a qualified Lawyer to join its team. The firm offers a dynamic working environment with exposure to both domestic and international clients.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Drafting legal opinions and reports
- Preparing and reviewing a variety of legal documents, including contracts and agreements
- Conducting legal research across various practice areas
- Handling Intellectual Property matters, with a particular focus on trademarks, including registration, prosecution, opposition, renewals, and enforcement
- Managing trademark portfolios on behalf of local and international clients
- Preparing and filing company incorporation documents
- Drafting pleadings, interim applications, and legal forms
- Representing the firm before Cypriot courts, government authorities, and administrative bodies
- Liaising with clients, business associates, governmental authorities, and other stakeholders in Cyprus and abroad
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Law degree from a recognized university
- Admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association or successful completion of the Cyprus Bar Examinations
- 0–5 years of relevant professional experience
- Excellent command of both Greek and English (written and verbal)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- High level of motivation and professional integrity
- Holder of a valid driving license and access to own transportation
